Records of individual veterans who served after 1910 are located at the NPRC and include the Veterans complete personnel file.  This is often referred to as a 201 file, as that is the name of the folder that holds the documents.  This file contains all documents the Gov. has on an individual Veteran.  These files can be quite comprehensive and include DD214’s as well as locations the Veteran served etc.
